The Earring is made of stainless steel. You can shower, swim and sport without any rusting or discoloration. In any case, it is obviously better for the jewel to barely come into contact with water, salt, and other hazardous substances. Jumping into a pool with your jewels on is therefore at your own risk. The Earring also contains no nickel and is hypoallergenic.
Important note: cleaning your jewelry from time to time can significantly improve the beauty of the jewel.
When you decide to do so, make sure you:
- Use dedicated jewelry cleaning products and a jewelry polishing cloth. Regular soap can cause a film to form around the jewel, making it look dull, and anything other than a special jewelry polishing cloth may cause scratches.
- Clean your jewelry with warm water rather than hot water
